By booking or using any services provided by Kustom Remaps Ltd, you acknowledge and
agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Kustom Remaps Ltd provides professional ECU and TCU software calibration services for
performance, drivability and fuel-efficiency improvements.
All tuning services are carried out at the customer’s request and discretion.
By proceeding with any booking, the customer confirms they are the legal owner of the
vehicle or have permission from the registered owner to authorise modifications.

2. VEHICLE CONDITION
ECU and TCU remapping should only be carried out on mechanically healthy vehicles.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy, properly maintained and
free from mechanical or electrical faults prior to any work being carried out.
Any existing faults or drivability issues must be disclosed before the appointment, including
but not limited to:
• Engine management lights
• DPF or AdBlue faults
• Misfires
• Limp mode
• Battery or charging issues
• Starting problems
• Excessive smoke
• Gearbox or clutch faults
• Oil or coolant leaks
If Kustom Remaps Ltd arrives at the booking location and the vehicle is found to have
undisclosed faults or drivability issues that prevent safe remapping, a £100 diagnostic/call-out
fee may apply.

3. BATTERY & ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
Vehicles must have a healthy battery and charging system before any remapping work is
carried out.
Kustom Remaps Ltd accepts no responsibility for issues caused by weak batteries, voltage
drops or pre-existing electrical faults during the remapping process.

4. OBD & BENCH REMAPPING
Most vehicles can be remapped via the OBD port.

However, some manufacturers restrict OBD access, requiring the ECU to be physically
removed for bench remapping.
Where bench remapping is required, an additional £100 charge applies.
Kustom Remaps Ltd will always confirm this with the customer before carrying out any
additional work.

5. PERFORMANCE MODIFICATIONS
ECU and TCU remapping modifies the manufacturer’s original software and may increase
stress on vehicle components including, but not limited to:
• Clutch and flywheel
• Turbocharger
• Injectors
• DPF system
• EGR system
• Gearbox and drivetrain components
• Engine components
Kustom Remaps Ltd accepts no responsibility for mechanical failures, component wear or
faults occurring before, during or after remapping where such failures are related to:
• Pre-existing wear or damage
• Poor maintenance
• Existing faults
• High mileage vehicles
• Unsupported hardware modifications
• Increased performance demands

6. SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS
Solutions relating to DPF, EGR, AdBlue, O2 sensors or other emissions-related systems are
provided at the customer’s request.
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring their vehicle complies with local laws and
regulations.
Kustom Remaps Ltd accepts no responsibility for the vehicle’s legal road use status
following software modifications.

7. STAGE 2 & MODIFIED VEHICLES

Customers booking Stage 2 tuning or performance software for modified vehicles are
responsible for ensuring all supporting hardware modifications are suitable, correctly
installed and functioning correctly before tuning takes place.

8. INSURANCE & WARRANTY
The customer understands and accepts that ECU or TCU remapping may affect manufacturer
warranties and insurance policies.
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform their insurance provider of any vehicle
modifications.
Kustom Remaps Ltd accepts no responsibility for invalidated warranties or insurance-related
issues.

9. PAYMENTS & BOOKING FEES
A £99 booking fee is required to secure appointments.
The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the work.
Booking fees are non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.
Completed remapping services are non-refundable once successfully installed and tested due
to the nature of custom software services.

10. MOBILE APPOINTMENTS
Customers must ensure safe and suitable access to the vehicle at the booking location.
Kustom Remaps Ltd reserves the right to refuse or postpone work where conditions are
unsafe or unsuitable.

11. VEHICLE TESTING & MOVEMENT
The customer authorises Kustom Remaps Ltd to start, move and test the vehicle where
necessary for diagnostic, testing or tuning purposes.

12. PRE-EXISTING FAULTS

Kustom Remaps Ltd is not responsible for pre-existing mechanical, electrical or software-
related faults that may become apparent before, during or after the remapping process.

13. SOFTWARE FILES
Original software files may be retained for backup and recovery purposes.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
14. THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
All ECU and TCU calibrations supplied by Kustom Remaps Ltd are professionally developed
and tested for the customer’s specific vehicle and requested service.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
15. LIABILITY LIMITATION
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kustom Remaps Ltd shall not be liable for:
• Loss of earnings or business
• Vehicle downtime
• Recovery or towing costs
• Loss of vehicle use
• Mechanical or electrical failures outside our direct control
• Consequential or indirect losses
Nothing within these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by
negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

16. CUSTOMER AGREEMENT
By proceeding with the booking, the customer confirms:
✔ The vehicle is mechanically healthy unless otherwise disclosed
✔ All known faults have been disclosed prior to the appointment
✔ They understand the risks associated with vehicle modifications
✔ They authorise Kustom Remaps Ltd to modify the vehicle software
✔ They accept these terms and conditions in full
